The Commission
Administration of the airport is the responsibility of the Houma-Terrebonne
Airport Commission. The responsibilities of the Commission include construction,
maintenance, management of airport employees, leasing property and promoting
aviation safety in Terrebonne Parish.
The Commission is financially self-supporting from revenues received
from leases, fuel flowage fees, and other income producing activities
at the facility.
The Houma-Terrebonne Airport Commission consists of seven members. All
members are appointed by the Terrebonne Parish Council. The officers of
the Commission are chosen by its members. Current board members are as
follows:
